Dexter's Laboratory
Dexter's Laboratory stories from DC Comics

As a one-time boy genius, writing Dexter's Laboratory comics was a lot of fun for me. It was also a very different challenge than writing for Looney Tunes.

On the Looney Tunes side, Bugs and Daffy already had a broad range of established story lines to guide a writer.  At the time I wrote these, Dexter was a newer franchise, still being defined with every show and still closely watched by its creator, Genndy Tartakovsky.  Fortunately, I had a knack for this show or, as my editor once e-mailed me, "Damn! You write good Dexter!"
